China also commands mostly respect, fear and suspicion. Sure, Chinese can bring investment and their economic success is definitely worth emulating, but I would not for a one minute think that Chinese led world order would be in any way or shape more concerned with the wellbeing of humanity. I think that when Pax Americana ends, and this time is probably coming rather sooner than later, we will remember it as the good old days.
